Reclaimed wood is a wonderful way to add an organic quality to any design scheme.

If you reclaim the wood yourself, it is very economical as in FREE and offers a highly effective way to add a contemporary statement to any motif.

Driftwood, roots or branches from your yard are all easily acquired and just require a little personality and cleanup to make a great statement piece.

Moss, rocks, and sleek glass containers can finish the wood design and give it the polish it needs.

Milk glass is an opaque or translucent, milky white or colored glass, blown or pressed into a wide variety of shapes. First made in Venice in the 16th century, colors include blue, pink, yellow, brown, black, and, of course, the white that gives it its name.

For an eco-chic centerpiece, I used pieces from my collection of milk glass to create a unique sculptural centerpiece.

The use of collectable glass gave this table a vintage, shabby chic appeal. This design would be fabulous for a wedding or bridal shower table design.

The Lodge at Devils Thumb Ranch has never looked so beautiful. LED Candles were used through out the space to line window sills and beams in the lodge. A custom gobo lit the pool adjacent to the Lodge. Custom embroidered hemstich napkins acted as place cards for every guest. Candle light cast a romantic glow on the tabletops.

After a dreadful day of rain, the sky opened up and set the stage for the specatacluar wedding day for Lisa and Erik. The setting was glorious for this chic mountain wedding. Custom covers lined the rustic log seats for the wedding ceremony. A guitar and flute combo played for the wedding ceremony.

The commom garden spider aka.  Black and Yellow Garden Spider, Writing Spider, Banana Spider or Corn Spider – is totally harmless to humans and fantastic for your garden.  This spider lived in my roses all summer.

Gardens spiders are a natural green defense for pesky garden pests a green lifestyle solution. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are totally useful in the ecosystem of a garden.  Like the smallest detail, they can make all the difference in the grand scheme where other pesky pests are concerned – they provide a natural defense to many unwanted garden insects which otherwise would be eating your blooms!

A western square dance and BBQ was the perfect welcome event for Lisa and Erik’s guests. The summer camp theme offered lots of fun themes for this chic Colorado wedding. A custom carved sign indicated the theme. Guests signed a metal mat around the couples engagement photo Kids were welcome at this event too. Young love! Simple and old fashioned games for all to enjoy. Sunflowers, cowboy hats and hitching posts set the scene. After dinner everyone made s’mores around the fire.

Lisa and Erik’s rehearsal dinner set the tone for this chic Colorado destination wedding. David Wegwart of Photocraftz photography captured every moment of this fabulous wedding weekend. Wedding rehersal at Devils Thumb Ranch. The Timbers Room at Devils Thumb Ranch was the venue for this intimate dinner. The 1st course for this wedding rehearsal reflected the Mountain Chic theme.

The Springtime Asian-inspired theme  will incorporate a vivid color palette, uniques accesories, and useful favors.

It is more important than ever to think of how to offset some of the waste created by all of the beautiful things we create.

Porsche North America unveiled its latest vehicle. The Panamera is the first 4 door sedan ever made by the iconic car maker. Affairs to Remember Catererer partnered with Wm Events to produce this exciting event. Guest seating cards were accented with giant jewels. The Manor, of Christian Ruffin’s One Stop Productions Empire, was the location for the event. Celebrity Chef Tom Colicchio of Bravo’s Top Chef and Atlanta’s own Suchitha Vadlamani were the evening’s hosts. The gorgeous evening began with passed hors d’ oeuvres and cocktails in the driveway of The Manor amid a collection of Porsches. White roses crowned the seating card table, made of current model Porsches, which exited the scene silently for the “changing” of the guard. Guests enjoyed cocktails among select Porsche sports cars “Roar, Roar,” and out rolled the spectacular new Panamera. This oh so sexy vehicle comes in 3 models, any of which I would take home instantly! Porsche Panamera revealed for the first time.

Enjoying this sexy vehicle at the ultimate reveal launch event. After toasting the vehicle with a specialty cocktail designed by Chef Colicchio, guests made their way to the “Porsche” dining room for a “Conversation” on the arts in Atlanta. Guests dined at elegant estate tables. Guests enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner designed and executed by Chef Colicchio’s Craft Restaurant.

Yellow Fin Hamachi was the starter for the incredible meal. The entertainment for the evening was a conversation on the arts in Atlanta.  The discussion, moderated by Succhitha, included speakers such as NBA star Steve Smith, playwright, Pearl Cleage, and radio personality, Ryan Cameron. Steve Smith & Mike McConnell discusssed sports at the ultimate reveal event

The evening concluded with a multi media presentation of Georgia on My Mind  by the Bumester stereo system accompanied by singer Jennifer Hanson and a 20 person gospel choir. Event photography provided by Patrick Williams Photography.
