Events are back, and everyone — from CEOs to brides — is ready to party. While we were living in the virtual realm, new event spaces cropped up in Atlanta to offer fresh experiences where we can once again celebrate together and possibly even share hugs. Here are three of our favorite new venues for hosting corporate and social events alike.

Guardian Works

What it is: Operated by Novare Events, the Guardian Works at Echo Street West is located within a 19-acre development on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside Trail. On the property, you’ll also find condos, a hotel, offices and more. It features a rustic vibe with high-end amenities.

Why we love it: This multiuse development has it all! And the Guardian Works event space charms with its renovated brick-and-beam structure and double-height interior. With 8,000 square feet of interior space, the 1908 building also boasts 4,000 square feet of covered patio space and a 10,000-sq.-ft. courtyard. It’s easy to see that the event possibilities are practically endless.

How many guests will fit: With so many spatial options, Guardian Works at Echo Street West has a capacity of up to 1,200 guests.

Our venue visit during construction gave us a glimpse of what was to come.

Bishop Station

What it is: Bishop Station is another new venue operated by Novare Events. It’s located in Midtown, convenient to many areas of the city, but away from major thoroughfares, so it provides a feeling of seclusion. Housed in a 1920s Gulf Oil Company building, it displays original design features paired with modern upgrades.

Why we love it: This industrial space delights with its combination of the old and the chic. Antique brick walls enclose a 3,600-sq.-ft. main event space, which features hardwood chevron flooring, a curved pine ceiling and eye-catching iron chandeliers. Massive windows along the perimeter let in plenty of light during the day, while the venue offers skyline views of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta in the evening. With two levels of event space, the square footage doubles, and extra features include a furnished lounge, a built-in bar, and a spacious outdoor courtyard.

How many guests will fit: With 7,200 square feet of interior space and a generous courtyard, Bishop Station welcomes up to 300 guests.

Illuminarium

What it is: You might not believe your eyes at Illuminarium, a next-level immersive experience on the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine. This massive event space features groundbreaking technology that enables fully customizable surrounds that ignite all five senses in a true-to-life experience.

Why we love it: Illuminarium transports guests to places they may never have dreamed of going – from the African Savanna to a Japanese night market or deep below the ocean’s surface. It all happens thanks to the venue’s combination of 4K laser projection, audio, in-floor haptics, and scent, placing visitors in the middle of an unfolding narrative. This epic experience takes place within 14,000 square feet of customizable event space.

How many guests will fit: Illuminarium can accommodate up to 600 guests for a cocktail-style reception event.

Our hard hat tour was nothing short of illuminating – the possibilities with this venue are virtually endless!
