Event Planner + Designer Tigest Gashaye joined WM Events in the fall of 2021, bringing with her a background that ranged from catering sales to nonprofit work to wedding planning and real estate. Before launching her professional career, she earned a degree in sociology from Georgia State University.

- What is your earliest memory about a party? My dad was a BIG birthday person, so I had the best birthday parties as a child. He made me feel like a princess.
- Most memorable event: I went to a friend’s wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. It was intimate and took place in a tropical hotel, where we all stayed that night.
