We’re kicking off Garden Week to celebrate all things horticulture at WM Events. And first up on the agenda is a fun and quirky alternative to a plain packets of seeds from Home Depot: SeedBallz. These spheres are packed with a blend of rich organic humus, a whole packet of seeds, and clay to offer you a new way to grow wildflowers and herbs. What’s even better is that the company has partnered with developmentally disabled workers and created an innovative and therapeutic opportunity for their employees.
Many of the SeedBallz include a variety of seeds in one ball; some annual, some perennial. They don’t need to be thinned, and will come back once they are established and allowed to re-seed. These SeedBallz, which come in 15 varieties, are perfect for producing clusters of flowers and herbs in one area.
