Unite for Haiti, an event crafted by design genius Micahael Habachy and a cast of dashing do gooders including Jane Nix, Pamela Mallinga and Eugenia Poirot, was a spectacular event to help the people of Haiti. Spun in just a week’s time, the event was a true grass roots effort. It was promoted entirely on Facebook drawing over 300 fashionable friendlings to Unite for the Casue.
Donations at the door, a raffle and silent auction were organized with plenty of prizes from places like : Owen Lawrence, Habachy Designs, U Restaurants, Twelve Floral Boutique and many more. Loca Luna and Silk provided a delicious spread ; WM Events detailed the scene with stylish effecst from our partners at Affairs and Peachtree Tents.
The best part of it all was the whopping $16,000 raised for CARE, Save The Children and Partners in Health – now that is uniting for a cause!
