For all you flower gurus out there, AMKK is a group of floral designers that are continuing to grow the innovative creations of the flower-plant of the floral artist, Azuma Makoto. One way the group has recently done this is by teaming up with Fendi and designing a pop up flower shop, Fendi Flowerland, that was open in Tokyo’s Fendi Ginza up until yesterday.
This exhibition was created as a promotional piece for Fendi’s 2016 Spring/Summer Collection. The collection was inspired by the flower power of the late 60’s and early 70’s. The main installation of this pop up was built on an “Ape” vehicle. Along with custom Makoto bouquets and floral arrangements, the shop was stocked with limited edition Fendi bags.
