Every year, Dior‘s runway design inspires us on a whole new level. From New York Fashion Week to Paris Fashion Week, Dior has been creating some of the most extravagant sets the fashion world has ever seen. Here are some of our favorites!
Artistic Director of Christian Dior, Raf Simons, grasped inspiration for this design from Dior’s famous quote, “I have designed flower women.” This show overtook five separate rooms of a Parisian mansion with floral walls and millions of colorful blooms.
Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 Paris Fashion Week
Tucked away in the grounds of the Musée Rodin, Dior built a glass garden for this show. Thousands of specs of bright colors coated the glass, adding a whimsical and airy feel to the show. “The venue, in many ways, is like a Modernist, Pointillist church,” says Raf Simons.

Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2016 Paris Fashion Week
This year, Dior constructed a 59-foot-tall mountain covered in 300,000 blue and lavender delphinium flowers. Stationed within the Cour Carrée, guests entered the man-made mountain to find the Dior runway inside. Models walked out onto the runway through a slope with more delphiniums cascading down the side.
