Founded in 2008 by the husband and wife team of Mark Sopchak and Jenna Park, Whimsy and Spice is what you get when Culinary Art collides with Graphic Design (or, at least marries it). I recently discovered this amazing pair at the Brooklyn Market on my recent visit to NYC, and was surprised and delighted to find that everything they make is simple, beautiful, and crafted in Brooklyn. And speaking of surprised, think about rose and black pepper thumbprint cookies, cog-shaped honey lavender shortbread, and chocolate chili biscotti. Pictured below are their Biscotti, Chocolate Marshmallows, Chocolate Gingersnap Cookies, and Chocolate Butterscotch Bars.
